How it works

  1. 1. Enter your teams. One name per line. Any number from two upwards — a 10 or 12 team league is the common case.
  2. 2. Pick single or double. Leave it single for one meeting per pair, or tick Home and away to play every fixture twice with the venue reversed.
  3. 3. Generate and share. Every round is listed with its fixtures and any bye. Copy the whole schedule as plain text to post or print.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a round-robin schedule?

Enter your team names one per line and click Generate Schedule. The tool uses the circle method to build a fixture list where every team plays every other team exactly once, spread evenly across rounds.

How many rounds and games will there be?

With an even number of teams you get one fewer round than you have teams — 10 teams means 9 rounds of 5 games, 45 in total. With an odd number you get as many rounds as teams, and one team sits out each round.

What happens with an odd number of teams?

One team gets a bye each round, and the tool rotates the bye so every team sits out exactly once across the season. The resting team is shown in each round.

Can I do home and away fixtures?

Yes — tick Home and away for a double round-robin. Every fixture is played twice with the venue reversed, so each team hosts every opponent once.

Is this a knockout bracket?

No, it's a league format where everyone plays everyone. If you want random teams rather than a fixture list, use the random team generator instead.
